Shipping & Returns


We accept major credit cards through our online payment processor, PayPal. It is not necessary to become a PayPal member to pay by credit card using PayPal. We are also pleased to accept orders by phone, toll-free at 1-888-292-5815.

We can also accept purchase orders for items purchased through our website. Credit pre-approval is not necessary for most educational institutions. Downloadable products and products requiring activation codes cannot be purchased by purchase order.


We ship items to Canada only. All items are shipped by Canada Post with a flat-rate shipping fee of $9.99 per order. Please be certain that you provide us with correct street address (not P.O. Box number) and postal code. If you do not receive your order within 2 weeks of order placement, please notify us immediately. Normal orders require 4-7 days for delivery. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.


Returning an Unwanted Item. We want you to be happy with our products. If you change your mind about your purchase, you may return the unopened/unused product within 10 days of receipt. We will issue you a credit less 10% restocking fee and less shipping charges.

Software And Consumables. All software products delivered electronically (downloads) are non-refundable once the product activation key has been sent, except in the case of defective items. Buyers should review the system requirements for the software they are purchasing prior to purchase. For assistance/troubleshooting, please contact Secrest Resources customer service for assistance.

Packaged software and consumables are not returnable once opened.

Returning a DEFECTIVE ITEM. We gladly accept returns of products within 30 days of original invoice date. Secrest Resources shall have sole discretion to issue a credit, to ship a replacement product, or to repair the item and return it to you. Please be sure to follow these guidelines to avoid any delay or denial of processing your return.

Check Your Return. ALL products being returned must be complete and must be packaged in original packaging. All packing materials, manuals, diskettes, CDs, digital media, blank warranty cards and other accessories and documentation must be included in the original packaging, as provided by the manufacturer. A return will not be processed, or a restocking fee may be charged in the event ANY item(s) included in the original shipment is not present in the returned package. Items sent for return consideration will be immediately denied in the event that a return shipment is received by us improperly packaged, altered or physically damaged.

ALL ITEMS WILL BE INSPECTED UPON RECEIPT. Any discrepancies including, but not limited to, the following list will result in the package being returned to the customer and credit or replacement will NOT be issued.The following criteria will be followed in rejecting returns and refusing credit:

  • Products which are improperly packaged
  • Products returned in non-original shipping container
  • Products with any standard certification or barcode labels removed
  • Products with SERIAL NUMBER which does not match SERIAL NUMBER on package or invoice
  • DAMAGE: Cracked components, any dents, scratches, defacement or abuse of product.
  • DAMAGE: Loose, damaged or removed screws/fasteners

Call Secrest for a Return Authorization (RMA) Number. We will not accept returns without a Return Authorization (RMA) number. Any return we receive without an RMA number will be documented and returned to you.

Ship and Insure Your Return. It is highly recommended that you insure the package that you are returning in the event that it is lost or damaged. Secrest will not be responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit. We also recommend that you use a shipping method that provides you with traceable shipping and proof of delivery. Postage and handling charges will be paid by the customer, and is non-refundable. Secrest may reimburse shipping charges related to the EXCHANGE of DEFECTIVE products.
